OMG!! Double Take!! At first I thought that was the 350Z! Translation, it looks good!!

Thats not a PS job. Those are real pictures taken several weeks ago. They had blue, silver, black and red G35 Coupe's at the Infiniti HQ.

Its not as good looking as the 350Z but I am still impressed with it.

 

That wing is horrible! Its a great looking car, but please, please no body order that horrid wing!

 

Its funny that most people say they don't like the wing yet everyone who sees it in person says the wing makes the car. Guess you have to wait and see it in person to make a real decision. Unfortunately I think the wing comes with the sports package automatically (only way to get 18" wheels and Brembos).

No one liked the wing on the Z when it first came out either... Now they do. I'm reserving judgement till I see it in person.

 

That red is HOTT!, The wing is not good, but from the profile pics of the 2 red cars it looks very nice. I think I would rather have the g35C rather than the Z. Much more room, it looks very classy, like a sc430. Look at the grill of the Lexus, it has only one more horizontal grill bar than the G35. And if ya turn the logo side ways it almost looks like a lexus. I think it is just a classy looking sports car. Anyone that sees this car on the streets would tend to think it was a $50-$60,000 luxury coupe.

Ill have mine with the auto/manual tranny. If ya have problems with that just go drive a g35 sedan with the auto and add 20 more horses. I think this car with very little mods will be a super 300 h.p. sports car that will look great for a long time to come.

I also believe that the g35c rear seats fold down. maybe i can fit my mountian bike in the back , with the front tire off of course.

Now in stead of sept. to see a Z, Im waiting more like Nov. to get to see the g35C. And drive it.

 

Is the G35 red the same shade as the 350Z Redline?

 

I think its the same red. Freshalloy.com has a forum for people buying the G35 Coupe so you might want to ask there.

With those Stats, I'm going to have to guess yes, the G35 will be significantly slower than the Z. I read somewhere that they are expecting the G35 to do 0-60 in 6 seconds flat. Nothing to laugh at, by any means, but the Z is being said to do that in about 5.5 seconds. That's about 5 car lengths ahead of the G35 by 60mph.

Now, why couldn't those 18"s have come on the Z as well?

 

The 275hp rating is an estimate. It's rated at 275+ just like the Z was 280+ So I'm guessing it will be 280. Still, with the weight difference, it won't be quite as nimble as the Z.

I keep going back and forth on this one. I just have to wait until they get here and see them both and take each for a test drive. The G35c will be more expensive - ~30-32K compared to the 28-30K for the Z I want, but it will come with a moon roof and leather, a better warrantee and cheaper insurance. It's a tough call.
