oh, and wait! I can't forget about the sweet blonde that was driving a brand new white one with another blonde riding shotgun while ANOTHER blonde laid on her lap! They all smiled, but they took off, maybe I should have chased them? lol. but I do have a girlfriend.

I wave if I have time. But when I drove a WRX I waved at them too. I used to have a MKIII turbo supra and I got a wave everytime from other supras.

I get glared at numerous times a day though. It is probably because im 24 and they are hatin because I have a Z. Especially when they find out I make coffee for a living and seldom work more than five hours a day

By the way I bought and insure my Z, not my parents

most of the time 8/10 i will see bone stock Zs and they dont really acknowledge me ... maybe they arent enthusiasts and just wanted a nice car? if theyre not from a forum then perhaps they dont kno about the wave or nod that all of us usually give ... i usually get the stare or rubberneck at my car cuz its exterior modded. eh whatever they can enjoy their car and ill definitely enjoy mine

I normally give a thumbs up or nod. But I dont anymore. 50% of the time I get nothing in return. But you know that the people that dont respond back are just stuck up a$$ho!es. We have a lot of those here in South Florida. I know they are sweating but dont want to show it. I really just dont care anymore.

In my MR2 I used to always get toots or waves from MR2 drivers. In the Z not so much which is a shame. Just today I was driving my ZR and another ZR pulled up next to me and just kept looking straight forward.

that may not sound that strange but in Australia it's not exactly a dime a dozen car.

I guess I just enjoy sharing my passion

I meet cool z drivers all the time, i have only had one bad experience when i talked to an older guy (mid 30's maybe 40). he just made some ignorant comments because im half his age and have the same car. but besides that i get honks and waves and everything like that

I get the glare usually when it's an older driver. It's probably because i look young. but when i see younger guys with Z's they usually think there Z is better than mine, I miss having my 300zx because we honked and waved all the time to each other. So now i don't even bother to wave or look over, unless the car really catches my eye, like for instances a hot girl in a Z with a exhaust and lowered.

yeah i've yet to see another Z on the road since I've been driving it only a couple days, but with the way some speak on the forum it's no wonder that some people are dbags on the road too

Saw a dude yesterday, he nodded his head after I waved and gave him a thumbs up. Other guys try to race me and start dipping around the highways, which I don't do. 50% say hello back, 25% wanna race, 25% don't pay attention/notice.

Nothing but friendly gestures. In fact, when side by side with another Z or G, I usually end up in a conversation with them. The second week I had my Z, an '06 G pulled up next to me and wanted to race. I told him I didn't want to because my car had 400 miles on it, and he completely understood. We then got into a discussion about our cars, driving side by side at about 25 to 30 mph on a main road, while other cars behind us were getting pissed off. Gotta love it.

pretty true. i always have people flash their lights or wave at me in my 300zx but never really in my 350z.

350z people won't say hi or acknowledge usually, but 9/10 a 300zx will wave or nod. I'm also more curteous to z's and s13/s14's. (Previous 240sx owner) ..I actually get more people asking about the car still to this day on how much, do you enjoy the ride..etc. STi and WRX drivers are surprisingly very nice here in Los Angeles, always giving a nod. Not one has yet reved the engine trying to provoke a race...(which they could probably take our z's)..just a nice sign of respect I guess. I always give a nod to Supra's
(touch choice I had to make between last generation supra or 350z. =/ )

Truth. I always hope more people wave because my car is older and I feel like true enthusiasts would recognize it and appreciate it. I always love seeing non-stock 240s, their drivers are always pretty cool. I find that people in (tastefully) modded 2g eclipses/talons, and drivers of 3000gts/stealths acknowledge me more than Z people.
