Is it just me or do all other z owners notice that there are a lot of guys in Z's who think we have to be competition since we drive the same cars. I actually feel like showin some gesture to say whats up to another Z owner but damn.

Nope. In fact when I do see other Z owners, we wave or something around those lines.


But maybe that's only because theres far less Z's in Nebraska than California.

I have to agree I have got alot of looks from other Z owners here in Los Angeles. ill pull up to them to say whats up and of course I get that stair down

 

I've noticed many times that other Z drivers actually try not to look when I gesture. To each their own, I guess.

 

On the contrary. The "nods" go back and forth from my experience.

I once had a guy in a DB ZR flip me off. Sad part was he had a my350z.com license plate.....

 

california is filled with douchebags that have a little money.


for real though...that and the combo of the weather and population, there's probably the highest concentration of Z's there, so you're bound to run across dumbasses.

I've been waving or nodding to other Z's for 5 years... if they don't wave back, theyre either idiots or douchebags, so screw em.

 

i've met some cool owners on the road. many wave and nod, but i've seen some jerk offs....

Yeah, I get no love in the '06 MB roadster from other Z drivers in Northern or Southern Cal, or AZ or NV. I think they're bitter! That's what I get from the oldsters I see. The younger guys/gals just don't really seem to give a $@&*&! I'm totally stock on the outside... Wait, got the lights flash from one guy on Angles Crest Hwy - I waved back. Sort of hard on this hwy when you're at speed.

 

I get someone waving or smiling back maybe 1/5 of the time. Usually they don't even look. Maybe they don't see me, maybe they don't know I have a z too . Never gotten a mean look though.

 

Not too many folks here in Houston wave, or nod...they just stare menacingly at you, or look away.

 

 

i'm a new owner... I always wave out of enthusiasm, but find that 7 or 8 times out of 10 I get nothing. Maybe it's because people aren't looking???

most recent example was a guy that I pulled up next to whose Z was identical to mine -- he waved but still gave me the look like "i'm better than you."

I felt like saying... "we own the same ****ing cary buddy..."

 

i wave if they are older like 40+. but if they are younger than that, i dont. cuz ive got some bad looks from cali-kid wanna-bes.

 

hmmm...there is only one other z here in Chicago that has the nismo kit on silverstone. I am sure their are others, but I have only seen one on the streets. That guy gave me a bad look, lol. Other than that, I have had nothing but head nods and waves.
