Default Compartment not closing

Has anyone else had a problem with either of the little compartments behind the seats not closing? The one closest to the passenger side just refuses to close, and after a hundred tries it finally closes. Just wondering if Nissan can replace it or something cause it is rather annoying!

I have an annoying time opening it but I have never had an issue with closing it.

I count myself lucky that mine is the opposite to yours

Regards,
Kevin

It's just a spring latch. I'm sure they can replace the box.

I had the same problem with mine and it was caused by the spring latch not popping out all the way. I found that by pulling gently on the latch you could pop it out and then the door will close. Annoying I know, but at least it will close...

The box is replaceable. In fact, I have one sitting around.

It's easy to remove, no screws involved.
