Flashy color Z's get pulled over more!
Ok guys, how many have you have been pulled over just because your Z's color sticks out like a sore thumb? I personally drive a Lemans Sunset colored Z and I have never been pulled over so many times for BS reasons. My most recent one went like this.
I was driving lets say 50mph while everyone was driving 45mph in a 35mph zone. Obviously everyone was speeding. Everyone on the road so happens to pass a cop waiting to get on the highway on the opposite side of the road. I pass the cop and change lanes probably 300ft after the cop to the outermost lane. The cop is almost out of view by the time he gets on the road, perhaps over a mile away, mind that we are in traffic which makes me harder to spot. To my misfortune I hit an intersection and the cop starts coming, pulls into my lane and blairs on the loudspeaker, "You in the orange car PULL OVER!!" I was thinking to myself, this is ridiculous. So I do pull over in the mud since it was raining and there was no where else to go. I'm watching in the rear view mirror and see TWO cops come out of the car. All I was thinking was, "Oh ****, what the hell did I do?!" One of the cops, who is a woman knocks on my window. Unfortunately for me....again....I have the busted window motor problem that everyone else has at the time, so I open my door. She responds with, "What you can't roll down your window?" I reply with no ma'am, it's broken. Then she says "What? You can afford a $50,000 car and you can't even fix a broken window, please turn your car off." I didn't feel like being smart since there was two of them so I didn't reply with anything. After that it turns out that the other cop was a rookie and the female cop was training him. I got off with a verbal warning. Weird thing is she was trying to be nice after the stop and stopped all the traffic so I could get back on the highway. Felt pretty stupid though since they were following me for another mile or two.......
Ha, anyone else have some high profile Z color that gets pulled over like that just because cops see it easier? I want to hear about it. I have some more stories with the Z too if ya guys are interested. I swear though, I never get pulled over driving my Ford Ranger or Jeep Cherokee doing the same things.

you were speeding and got pulled over. you say you were driving 15mph over the speed limit. i'm pretty sure most cops would pull you over for that. so whats so unfain about it? i agree that most cops are dicks, but if you break the law, you're bound to get pulled over. at least you werent pulled over for no reason

One was because the cop wanted to know how much he could score a Z for........this was in the middle of the night, around 11:00p.m., no one else on the road.

It's an urban myth that certain colors get ticketed or in more accidents than other colors. Google it and you'll find reports by insurance and highway safety groups that disprove that belief.

This forum seems to be awash with morons that start threads by saying "I was doing 15 - 20 over the limit and the cop pulls me over?! WTF!" They then go on to blame it on everything BUT the fact that they were

but that was only in this case. In my other experiences, I wasn't even doing anything wrong. i have only been pulled over 1 time for a bs reason. and he said from the sound of my exhaust he knew i was speeding. at the time i was going from 15mph to the speed limit at 45 mph

Just this weekend coming back from a meet myself and 2 other Zs behind me all got pulled over by 1 trooper! Needless to say it sucked, and I have a PPW and there were 2 MB's behind me.

ive owned my 07 s.o. z for 4 months havent gotten a ticket yet (knock on wood) i dont pass the limit for more than 10 mph. cops usually pull ppl over after go 15 over the limit +/-
