Default Well 1 thing after another..

We'll im at 72K now with my Z i have a 75K gold signature series warranty. We'll the gentlement i bought the vehicle off of in 2006 had just bought the extended warranty and then he sold it to me...well he said he'd cover the $50 to transfer the warranty i said awesome.Well at 60K my 3rd and 4th and 5th gear syncro had to be replaced...under this warranty my name was on it in there system when they fixed it under this warranty...well ive been noticing small amount of smoke recently and oil light would come on around 3000 miles noticing its burning oil...nearest dealership is 46 miles from me so this is a pain...they say we'll do a oil consumption test...come back every 500 miles so we can check your oil....first trip...503 miles...lost 1/4 of a QT. and today went back to Nissan im at 625 miles...had a go out of town...we'll now its burnt 3/4 more oil...so in 1000 miles..i've used up 1 qt of oil..and the way gas prices are and oil prices are i hate just throwing it away..we'll they say...has the warranty not been transferd back into your name..well Nissan hasnt finished it..now i have to send them another freaking $50 which they already had got from the previous owners...and send them EVERY bit of work done at every dealership it had been to...how annoying...so now ive got a problem and a $1800 warranty floating around which they arent doing anything about!!!talking about a freaking hassle! if i get a new bottom end that would make up for it...when we was changing out to put the Iridium plugs in,in the 5th cylinder there was oil on the plug??so im curious of whats up!..thought id relieve some pain and see if anyone else had this issue.
also Happy Halloween!!

I am pretty sure oil consumption of a quart every 1,000 miles is regarded as normal (or at minimum not unusual) for most cars. More than that I think they have a problem, but my truck burned that much.

No, that's not normal.

But in fact, nothing about the post (difficult to understand) or the car (Pin striping on the door?) is normal. And what's with the pumpkin by the rear wheel?

Is it a 2006, or did he say he bought it in '06?

It's difficult to determine reading his confusing post.

I have the oil in the spark plug chamber that you speak of also. I was told by members of the 350Z club here in town that it is due to the valve cover gasket. They said that there is the main gasket, and then each spark plug chamber has its own little nipple and if it gets messed up, oil will leak down into the top side of the chamber. If you were getting a significant amount of oil in the combustion chamber youd be blowing blue smoke. If you changed the plug and then blew smoke, its because the oil leaked into the chamber when you pulled the plug. I was told that its not that big of a deal, but should get it taken care of so it doesnt shortout the coil pack.
