Default back up lights wiring

I need to attach something to the backup light wiring. Does anyone know how to get to it? I see lots of wires coming up the left rear in the trunk but that foam is blocking access. I assume there is a way to remove the foam (I can't figure out how to do that either) but is there a way to identify the right wire in the harness?

Hi Len, I just checked the print in the Nissan factory service manual for the back-up circuit. It shows LG which I guess is Light Green.. Look for that color.. It's the same for both sides.. As for removing the insulating material, I believe it just comes right out. The dealer had to remove mine to install the new Bose amplifier..

Good Luck
