Default Automatic Vs Standard

Hello Everyone,

My name is Max and I was wodering about an automatic vs Standard trans Auto.

I tests drove the 2007 White Base model Automatic and loved it. My questions is can I get the same performance and acceleration from an automatic? This will be my first "sport car" so I'm not expecting Ferrari fast from a Nissan.

How hard is it to drive a Standard? I've driven my brothers M6, but I stalled many times. Is the Standard 350Z standard more forgiving than the M6? or are they all pretty much the same?

Can the automatics be fitted with a intercooler?

Engine Oil Cooler?

Transmission Cooler or does that fall under engine oil cooler?

I was also wondering about the CO2 system and if it's safer than Nitrous system?

Anyone buy from Universal City Nissan, CA?

What model did you buy and what did you pay? OTD please.

up the shut ****!

j/k

all joking aside though, as for performance the standard will give you more of a ""true sport" response. and i am sure you don't want an auto sports are. as for learning stick, the 07s are way more driver friendly in terms of clutch and steering input. i have an 04 and as many 03-05 owners can tell you, its like shifting through sand and pushing through rocks. as Nexx said, get what is comfortable to you.

How about adding performance stuff like the CO2, intercoolers and all that good stuff. Still possible on an automatic?

The difference between a Z with manual transmission and an automatic transmission is.......wait for it.........wait for it...................

The transmission.

Wait, WHAT?! That almost makes too much sense. I need to lay off the reading and social interaction. Oh, and the common sense too.
