For some reason, I always get pulled over by motorcycle cops usually every 3-6 months for NO REASONS!

 

I havn't seen a charger cop yet. That thing is tight as hell.
Anyway...
I pulled out about a hundred yards in front of a cop on a four lane road with a big asphalt median on a rainy day and didnt see him/her until i finished through second gear at redline sliding around(he/she was the only car within a hundred yards of me). Obviously it was intentional and i was waving the back end out both ways and the cop really didnt seem to care. Casualy pulled into the right lane and turned off and stoped until i got my breath back.

That is definatly a NON-hater if ive ever seen one.

 

It seems like everytime I get on it in town or on the freeway I get pulled over. So, I've stopped doing that. I get a little crazy on mountain roads now with no cross streets. The biggest thing I have to look out for there is a bike or a deer. So, I try to get on it only where I can see for a long ways.

It's still a lot safer to take it to the track and I do that as much as I can. However, sometimes I just need a little speed thrill and the twisties will do that for me. Nothing a little power sliding doesn't cure.

I follow one basic driving rule:

Be safe, Be kewl .....

 

What's the story behind this?

 

Just last night, I was driving down a highway, I was on the #2 lane and all of a sudden, a car from the #1 lane cut in front of me at a relatively slow speed (around 70mph). So I got a little pissed so got on the #1 lane and started driving at around 80mph. 1 minute later, a CHP pull up next to me, not behind me, looked at me and on his PA said, "you know, the speed limit is 65". Then I looked over, gave me a salute and dropped my speed to 70'ish.

I am so freaking lucky. Now to think of it, the car that cut in front of me in the first place probably saw the cop, so she slowed down and got out of the #1 lane.

 

Nah, but coulda been a reckless at his discretion, but didn't do that to me, so same difference really.

 

Because your Z was there, the cops must hate your Z AND your house.......and your rocks, grass, driveway, shoes, thighty whities......OH, and your front door!

Keep in mind that the crime scene can be on either side of the tape. I would of park my Z next to the Charger and do a photoshot!

 

They weren't actually at my house I just saw it as a perfect photo op

It was for the next house down (still on my side of the tape)...kid got stuck in something I think. Never really found out what happened or why all the police were necessary (in the pic is just one...there were at least 5 + ambulance). Neglect?

 

I'm a police officer and I like my Z... I always admire other Z's while driving around aswell...

 

 

it seems like you might have missed what i had said i havnt been in alot of trouble with the police at all, and i dont believe working near cops qualifies me as a bad ***... but yes i am a bad *** mother ***** anyways

 

they rather people going over the speed limit then bother people stealing or robbing people. In new york there all *******s. Nypd new york ****** and dicks. I guess i would hate my lfie to if i was nypd and only made 25k a year starting.

I get pulled all the time....like I stick out or something...we have much in common since you are in florida like me. I'm in the Palm Beaches and I swear cops need to have more sex or something b/c they stop me for the dumbest things and they are just harassing me most of the time....so what...a blonde in a Z.....wtf...

 

I havent been pulled over in my car yet. I definitely DRIVE my car too. Ive been caught red handed so I thought a few times. Never had a problem.

 

I've been pulled over once in the Z and I was really speeding so I deserved it. However, I've been pulled over 2 other times in company cars and I wasn't really doing anything wrong but you can't argue with a cop.

 

Did they give you a ticket each time? If no, then remember that FL is a very popular route for drug smugglers. So they are just pulling you over for stupid **** to investigate bigger crimes.

If you do get a ticket every time, well, I don't know what to tell you.

I'm a cop and I like my Z just fine. All professions have *******s and police work being so public amplifies the negative experiences. I'm not a traffic cop however I go as fast as needed to get to my calls and catch the bad guy. This is a dumb topic because the general public doesnt have the knowledge of our field to fully understand why cops do what they do.
