I live in Canada
i just bought my Z Touring&navi&spoiler
and it has 481 km on it by the dealership owner
and it's $500 off msrp ...
but i bought it anywayz (did i make the right choice)?
However , there are some minor but long scartches & swirl marks.
i asked them to fix it ...
so i bring it to them @ 10 a.m.
and they said it will be done in 1 hr at most...
however, they didn't call me back till 5pm.
and they told me that they can't fix it,.. they want it to be perfect
so they decide to send my car to the bodyshop...
which will take 2~3 days...hum...that means i can't see mine car for a long time . damn.
i also discover that when i start the engine, there is a clicking noisy whenever i step on the break pedal.(is that normal? cuz i didn't notice that before i took it to the dealership)
i am getting disapponted at the dealer, if they can't get me a perfect car after 3 days they will never get a customer from me.

I never heard any clicking noise. I heard a "plink" when I changed gears once that sounded pretty funny. But braking has never made any amusing sounds whatsoever. I don't know what can click, but it can't be good.
The scratches sound to me like they either buffed the car badly (like whoever did it didn't know what they were doing), or a fine piece of dirt was trapped in a towel someone used to clean the car. I don't know of any way to really repair that except to repaint. Trying to remove some clear coat, which I bet they'd try to do, might smooth it out, but it will probably also cut down the lifetime of the paint.
I'd worry that the dealer, knowing they'd only have the car for a short time, wouldn't treat the car as nicely as I would. And so I wouldn't buy it. I'm no expert, as you can probably tell. But that's my POV.
