Question Anyone in D/FW get a VIN?

At a dealership other than Courtesy? Sorry if this is a repost, just wondering if anyone with orders at one of the Bankston (AutoNation) dealers has received a VIN.

my contact NNA states that I have a VIN along with others. BUT the whole craziness with everyone calling the NNA offices all over there is a direct communication from corporate that says no information is to be released to customers and that all communication to be forwarded to the dealer. She also got promoted to marketing Augsut 1st and she doesnt seem very willing to be helpful anymore. Droidekaus looks like you got your wish.

I was thinking what BS is that.....She said well I call C.E. and will have someone give him the information. I called C.E. and nothing.

Man I missed up that connection. I wait patiently for the info. We know its there. Just when are they gonna take the insentive to ask for the new report and call us.

I expect very soon. The dealerships are very dissappointing. I have relayed that the communiction between them either sux or the dealer is just treating it like anyother car.

Either way I can wait another week but thats about it before I start making calls again.

Jason, that's complete and utter ********. Have you spoken to the Sales Manager (owner's son) yet? When I got tired of C.E. never contacting me I went straight to him. That guy is on top of his ****. Took my name and said he'd look up the info and call me back. An hour had passed and I hadn't heard back when he called to apologize for the delay and promised to let me know something ASAP. Can you believe that? He called to let me know he was still working on it and that he hadn't forgetten me.

If you have the names of people at NNA regional who are holding the VIN info, you should call the Sales Manager and let him know, but don't beat him up for info! I guarantee he'll get on it and have C.E. calling everyone tomorrow.

Hey guys - lets get together when I come out to pick up my car, for dinner or something. I'd be cool to meet some of you before I drive back.

No VIN here either (Bankston of Dallas). I did get a call last week from the Sales Manager with my order number and a delivery month of September, but nothing else since then. I'd definetly be game to get together and check out the Z's once they come in for everybody. Let me know.

Well all I will say is that according to 2001 and most of this year, they are the "LARGEST VOLUME SALES LEADER" in North America. And being such, I was told they had an initiall larger pre-order # than all other dealers. Will they get their cars first? That is yet to be seen..............

I'll be flying into Dallas on Sept 12th to pick up my car. Lets tenatively plan to get together for dinner that night.
Since I dont know the area I'll let you guys decide the time and place.

Hey JDZ - when my car actually arrives (sometme around 9/12), any chance you could cruise over there and take a picture or two of it for me? I can let them know you're coming in advance. I'm going to be going crazy if it arrives a week early and I cant see it.

LowFuel-

I may be able to help you out. My car is due to arrive at Courtesy on Sept 3. If our cars are there at the same time I'll take pics of yours if I can
