up to 60,000miles on an 04.5?

The fuel guage doesn't work at all. I am assuming the sending unit went out. I just went over 60,000 by 50 miles. I hope that Nissan will cover this, even though I'm technically out of warranty.

it's a wire on the side of the fuel bucket. If they don't cover it you can prob fix it yourself. Take it in first and see what they say.

i have the same problem....fuel gage way off. that would be under the power train warranty? or bumper-bumper?

if's it's just off it's one of the 2 level sensor's more likely. Should be covered

That's what I wanted to hear. If I can DIY it, I'll go for it. I'm gonna take it to another Nissan dealer. The one I normally go to wants to charge me $80 just to diagnose the problem. They are kinda being dicks about it.
