Only 99 pages long...See my sig then you will see some 2006 oil consumption problems
Let me rephrase my comment

I don't see any oil consumption problems reflected in the CR data.

Just goes to show why Nissan will never overtake Toyota and Honda. Yes, Nissan makes more exciting cars but they're simply not as well made and reliable as their two closest competitors.

Actually, no.

It could be you don't know how to treat a Nissan. I beat the crap out of my '93 Pathfinder, change oil every 10,000 miles or so, and now I'm perturbed that the original clutch is going out at 319,000 miles. Except for tires, I probably have put less than $3000 in the car since I drove it new off the lot 14 years ago.

Well, it's anecdotal on my part, but I never had a problem with any Nissan I've owned. '89 and '91 Pathfinders, '95 Maxima that I had for four years. And my new ones, '07 Z and '08 Nismo Frontier. Great truck, by the way!
Regarding the oil consumption issue, I'd be really pissed. My S2000 used to like oil, especially synthetics, but I can't get the HR to use a drop. I don't abuse it, but I don't baby it either. I'm not in any hurry to switch to syn oil.
Sorry for wandering off-topic.
