One of the first things I did was rip out my stock deck and install my Alpine CD/MP3 deck that's a bit older than my car

 

We have three cup-holders...what more could you want? What's Zune?

 

Zune is the microsoft version of the Ipod.

I didnt care about the 6cd changer because I figured I can use the MP3 CD's, but now Im SOL! No biggie, I can hold out until I put my new unit in.

 

u dont need a radio...put in a sick exhaust roll down your windows and drive...exhaust is your radio

the Z is a very special sports car with superior handling & driving experience.

First off the best thing to know about the Z car is MODS, you can start by ditching the stock stereo including the BOSE system for something that sounds and performs to match the Z.

Next you should do window tint & wheels and tire package.


Shame on you thinking stock stereo was a keeper, and yes I always use my Zune in the aux jack of my Sony deck, and don't be cheap & try to not replace all the speakers with the new system!!!

 

Be happy that you didn't get the bose and just the stock sound system because the bose is much harder to add an aftermarket system too.

 

When you change your name to "ZtoElise", I can imagine you starting a thread with: "A paid 50k for a sports car, and where is the damn stereo?"


I'm just glad I didn't pay 45k for my Z to get 15 way reclinable seats, and end up ripping out a stock Harmon Kardon system that would have been "aiigghht" anyway.

 

Why would you wanna use that crappy a.s.s stock system anyway? (Bose or non-Bose both POS)
Swap it out for some aftermarket headunit, nice amp, good set of satellite speakers, and finally a sub or two

Yeah the grand tourings do. And i payed around 30 for a new one thats grand touring so you might have dropped the ball on your bargining skills

Yes, the Zune is the best bang for buck MP3 player out there...

150 bucks for 30gb,

250 bucks for 80gb.

Ipod cant beat that.

I didn't want/need power windows or locks.
I didn't want/need a trip computer.
I didn't want/need 3 cup holders.
I didn't want/need heated leather seats.
I didn't want/need 240watt stereo with 6 CD changer.
I didn't want/need a navigation system.
Frankly, I have mixed emotions about if I want air conditioning.

What do you want?

I want a sports car.
I want it to have a great motor. --check
I want it to have great handling. --check

That's all that matters, that's why I bought a Z.

 

I would have cost next to nothing to add an aux jack. Jeez, my new Frontier has an aux jack and an iPod interface. No huge deal, but very nice to have.

 

you bought the wronf car if your worried about mp3 player lol. Maybe u should go get ur Neon back haha stupid neon. Seriously change the deck like everyone said who the hell keeps the stock bose system anyway. I put my alpine 9855 in there in 1 week of buying it. And the new zs do come wiht a mp3 player. And you can also buy an adaptor im pretty sure with aux in for your zune

 

The iPod beats those prices. 249 bucks for 80 gigs. Plus a better design and software.
