Default finally

Well yesterday I finally got my license back after 455 of the longest days of my life. I had all but forgotten that after I bought my Z I joined my350z.com site. I purchased my Z back on April 24, so for over a month I was unable to drive it. Except of course down my driveway to pickup the mail . So needless to say after I picked up my license I took my baby out and I can say that month was worth the wait. I am of course still in my break in period but I'm looking forward to sunny days and winding roads this summer. I guess what I'm trying to say is it will be nice to finally share my experiences and QUESTIONS with this group of Z owners!

Cheers-
Chad

Default Holy crap!

I got mine the same day. I about flipped out having to sit out 3 days while it was in the shop getting a dent fixed. (vandelism) I can't imagine how hard that was.

Why the wait? I assume you meant 45 days, not 455...

I meant 455 days, my license was suspended for 3 months for underaged drinking which was pretty much the biggest bone head move of my life to date. I had applied for an occupational limited license but was denied, so I had to drive or risk losing a good job. About 1 week into my 90 day suspension a middle aged man in a cutlass pulled out right infront of me in the rain. I T-boned the hell out of his car and totaled my then baby(93 mr2). After my ride in the ambulance to the hospital the cop was nice enough to hit me with a driving while on a suspended license which carried another year suspension. I took it to court trying to get a lighter sentence but the judge wasn't having that. So I was car less and unable to drive for 15 months. I luckily bummed rides from friends and my brother. Thank god its over.

OK, so you bought the car knowing your sentence was about up.

Welcome back to the roads - keep it between the curbes!
