i would wait. 12 months from now supposivly it would be out or so from every thing i read.

12 months is not a long time to wait for a 30,000 dollar investment.

On the reverse side i woudlnt wait till 2011 or what ever the date was for a body modifacation. the car looks fine as is.

I'm changing my vote to wait. If you say it's coming, it must be.
What are the new options? Colors? What are the new power figures?

life is short. if you can get what you want now without jeopordizing your future why not do it now. by the time 2010 is here you can get another.

I didnt say it was comeing i just said based off all the garbage i read it looks like 2009 may be a possiblity. I dont find 12 months a long wait to find out if its true or not.

I say this to a lot of people "patience wins all" i find it can be applyed to almost any thing, you can almost tell who doesnt have any patience.

But if you was looking for me to say all the new options and colors and it has a gazillion horse power for your own amusement then you thought wrong, but in the sport of it i did hear it may have a flux capacitor OVER DRIVE! hehe

You drive a 350Z. 350z Driver does not. I think that is an important distinction.

Maybe lease a 08 Z for a bit?

I just hope Nissan stays away from the fad of "add more power, add more fat" that all the manufacturers (save Corvettes and Porsche) have been following. If the curb weight for base coupes after the redesign is over 3400 i might vomit.

what i heard nissan will busy to release gt-r and some car , new z will come out by 2011 or 2012 and you don't want to get the first release many recalls have to wait 2 years to get it right.

I was going to buy an 07 or 08 brand new so it would cost a little under 30,000 dollars. Will the 370z pricing be similar from what youve heard? I cant wait for the 2010 370z I would get the first year 09 370z without a doubt, waitin another long year would be bad enough.

If its still relativly close to 30,000 dollars maybe my v6 stang can hold up another year. Worth the wait? Anything wrong with buying the first year 370?

you guys who say to buy now and not wait do realize the next Z is very likely coming by the end of this year right? And maybe be selling early 2009. All the signs seen lately have pointed to that timeline. The Z definitely wont be introduced in 2011 or anytime that late, simply because it's barely surviving on low sales now, not to mention last 2+ more years on the same design....

I believe in enjoying the moment and not play the waiting game all the time, when it comes to cars and technology. But when it's this close, and you know the next Z will get a bigger engine, it couldn't hurt at all to wait till the end of the year to find out. If you somehow don't like the new design when it comes out, then get the '08 with an even bigger, end-of-model discount.

You're going to see something about the next Z from Nissan within 6 months, waiting seems like a no-brainer man!!!

of course, if your fellow Z members keep posting Z pictures like the one Davidv posted, it would make waiting a torture
