Default The Z is DEAD:( 56K NO NO

So unfortunatly last night around 8pm i was heading home when a drunk driver driving a 1986 Chevy Suburban decided to pull out of a side street in front of me . I don't remember the impact or seeing him pullout but i remember kicking the driver door so it would open to get out and the police already being there:/ Seeing the Z there crying oil and coolant and stuff was just painful. I got taken to the hospital to get xray's and mri's done on my neck which is killing me right now, thankfully nothing broken just some scratches and bruises and really stiff neck. Then the police comes over and tells me that they arrested the man who hit me because he blew a .16 and according to them he tried making a left turn and was looking right Went to see the car today and it's hmmmmmm dead I had the car for three months and had a blast in it especially around turns it was a great relationship and the only arguments were when she didnt want to close the window all the way(TSB) and the clicking noise which was also a TSB. So here is what everyone has been waiting for the pics before and after

I hope that its totaled which i am almost positive it is. And please don't drink and drive over the limit. Meeting with my lawyer tomorrow to deal with this drunk idiot

Wow dude. Glad you're alright. Drunk drivers need a swift kick to the nuts (over and over).

WOW

Sorry for your loss man, but glad your ok. An 86 burbon (no pun intended) could have don a lot worse if it was at full speed!

Maybe an 07 would make ya feel better

Cheers

Kevin

Thank God your OK. Yea, meet with the lawyer and take him for a ride. I'm tired of hearing stories of where drunk people loose there license, but yet get a temp license to drive on. Total BS.

Your better than me. I don't know what I'd do if that happen. I really feel that I would have got out of the car and beat the living hell out of him. Yes, I would go to jail. But that wouldn't change him from being responsible for the wreak. I could live with that. And would expect the same if I caused the wreak being so stupid.

Quite possibly another "Z saved me" post. These things are AWESOME in frontal collisions.

Looks like your lucky day, though it might not feel like it right now.

Thanks for the responses. I would of loved to talk to the guy who hit me but i didnt even know who hit me till the police told me Those suburbans are like tanks so in that sense im very lucky that the collision only happened at around 40mph and that I walked away. I would love to give some one the intake but the lower pipe that goes into the bumper is really bent so its really not worth it. If anybody needs fresh floormats and trunk mat pm me ill give them to you because i can go there and take them out for someone. But you would have to come to Salisbury, MD to pick them up and drive me to the lot because I dont have a car right now I am planning on really going after the guy with the lawyer

Glad to see you're not dead and not suffering any breaks.

Glad you're still with us. Hope this will open a few of our eyes when we have only a few beers and want to drive. We all know who we are, don't we?

Dial up an attorney right quick... paing and suffering dude. Also, if you are open to it, see a Chiropractor, preferrably someone who has been in practice a long time.
