Sooo a week before my bday (about 2.5 weeks ago) i get a call from my neighbor....yea sooo when did the tree fall on your car? I'm like....umm what tree?
Then i pull in my driveway and see a 50 ft+ long tree over the back end of my now crushed Z....
.....talk about a bday present....anyways just got the call from the insurance adjuster...they are totaling it out...i'll try to get some pics loaded, but it's been fun guys, i really enjoyed driving my z, but think it may be time for something else...maybe something with a back seat...i guess on the upside, at least i wasn't in the car when it hit
Keep an eye out as i'll prob have some goodies for sale coming up soon!

wow...talk about act first & think later. Regardless....incredible waste of time and posting. Thread fail/lock/close/die.
Still sorry about the OP's Z though. Let's burn down all the trees so this will never happen again.

Sorry to hear that. Im kind of in the same situation https://my350z.com/forum/2003-2009-nissan-350z/318222-the-z-is-dead-56k-no-no.html and I might be looking into a used e46 M3 as my next car. Look into it theyre a pretty good deal nowadays.
Sounds like a "Hmm... I dont really like my Z anymore. That tree looks like it about to fall. I have an idea."
JK but if you were looking to get out of the Z, thats actully a lucky break because trade in values are shitty and selling the car yourself is a pita.

Sorry for the late reply for pics, but here are some...the intial estimate was $12k, but that was before they took any body panels off or put it up on the lift...they knew there was suspension damage, buh bye koni's, but they didn't know to what extent....
