Default Looking to get a 350z used..

Hey, looking to get a 350z for fun. Saw a bunch used for cheap and looking to get into one for the hell of it. I have driven a few and seems like a fun car. How are they in terms of reliability? Would I want to pick up with out warrenty? The ones I am looking at have 45k to 50k miles. 2003-2004. This would be a secondary car, probably every day driven.

Never mind this thread. Delete. Saw what I'm looking for. Tranny recall and tire feathering.

Look for an 05+... E46's are not that reliable vs japanese cars.. i've had one and put just as much into my car for maintenance / repairs as I had for mods.. and I put quite some money into my e46.

The 04.5 and up covered the tranny and feathering issues, just watch out for the rev-up engines, some have oil consumption issues.

03,04 had tranny issues. Warranty is 5 Years 60K for powertrain, so keep that in mind, you may be able to still get it fixed.

buy the 03-04 since you have money(imo people who own E46m3 have money )
so EVEN if your tranny craps out, you can get your hand on an 009 tranny.

Your reply is worthless. The OP has left, never to return.

The thread ended when davidv said that the OP would be gone in a month.

I want to post this in a BMW forum to see the reaction I get:

Um, yeah, I want to buy an M3 for the hell of it just to beat on, I would drive it all the time because honestly I wouldn't give a **** about it. I would let all my friend eat in it, slide across the hood like Starsky, have sex in it etc... its a nice car but nowhere near as good as my god-touched 350Z, so can you help me out because I don't know much about them nor do I care to find out on my own.

Oh, and I won't come back here ever again. Just tell me what I need to know.

Edit: Oh, I saw that after the warranty runs out the car is a POS, nevermind.
