The Dealers will abide to Nissan restriction but that doesn't mean they can't added packages such as Prep, Lo-jack, chrome wheels and other junks to jack up the MSRP. In other words, they are still selling you at MSRP but you have to pay for their packages if you want the car.

If you pre-order, you can customize and not have those junk packages installed. And if you did pre-ordered, you should know the exact amount down the cents (includes tax, license etc... ie OUT THE DOOR).

Rule of thumb for CA residents, take MSRP price, add 7.75% (for Orange County) for tax and 2% for license. The dealer should have calculated this for you to give you an OTD price of the car before you sign it. Now if you are CA residents and your are paying way over 9.75% OTD. I smell fish!

Hope this helps!
