Default RPM at 70 MPH

I have noticed my RPM's at around 2900-3000 when I'm driving around 70 mph... is this normal? I just got another Z (had an 03 now an 05) and never noticed my rpms being around 3k at 70 mph, maybe I'm wrong.

It is an auto.

not sure about Automatic but my 6speed 07 Z is at 3000 RPM at about 82-84MPH.

Hmm, big difference from 70 to 84ish. I figured they would be about 2600 at 70.

Your comparing a 6 Speed to a 5 Speed. Different gear ratios.

Yes its normal. If your really feeling unsure run the gear ratios through an online caulcator..

I couldn't find the AT ratios after a quick 5min google but if you've got time.
