Default How do you lift the car?

I'm not sure if this belongs on Mods since it doesn't deal with a modification, but if it does feel free to move it there.

I was wondering for those who installed exaust's and other modifications which need the car to be raised, how did you do it? Did you use 2 jacks? Ramps?

I don't want to spend $75 bucks installing something I know I can install, but at the same time I don't want to take a risk. Anyone know a 100% SAFE way.. which gaurentee the car won't fall on me?

If you want to use ramps, go with Rhino ramps.

Just say no to the Ultra ramps....The Z cannot get up the Ultra ramps even with the extension.

rhino ramps or jack stands, both available at your local pepboys or similair auto parts store.

you can use the factory jack to get it up, in fact, you sort of have no choice as atleast my floor jack will not fit under the car, so you gotta raise it half way with factory jack, then the rest with floor jack.

but either way, do not put anything you like or want to keep unless it is securely supported by jack stands or ramps, NOT A JACK OF ANY KIND. and when it is up on stands or ramps, feel free to shake it a bit, cause youd rather it fall for whatever reason when your not under it, not get it just barely balancing up there, for you to hop under and struggle with.
