Diff grades of fuel
Just a curiosity... In Australia 91 is the standard petrol, 95 premium, and 98 octane the super duper petrol. Shell even tried to sell 100 octane for a few months. I'm wondering is, as to why our lowest grade of fuel is the premium in the States and we go as high as 98-100? I mean from what I've been reading it looks like no one here would really hesitate going for 98 if it was available, right? So I'm doubting it's a demand issue.
Wouldn't it also mean that stock for stock our Z's are slightly faster

Something stupid happened in NNA Marketing department, and they over-rated our Zs with 287hp, but in Japan it's only rated at 280ps using a higher octane fuel. Figures don't lie, but liars do figure.

If you're really that concerned about spending the money on gas, you can alternate back and forth between 89 and 93 octane, as long as you fill it once the tank reaches half or a quarter left. That keeps a nice balance of around 90 to 91 octane. But, honestly, I just fill it with 93. If I wasn't going to spend money, I wouldn't have bought a sports car.

It just sound like you get less fuel with the additional detergent. Not sure how reliable those detergent really are or probably more like fillers.
