Was on my way home from work....went through an intersection, was told I ran a light, I have no recollection of the impact. I was taken to the hospital by ambulance along with the woman I hit. I wish I could remember how it all happend, but it's a complete blackout from my memory.

I loved this car and always took great care of it. ****in heartbroken to see her like this.

What can I expect from Insurance..? Could it be saved? (Yes there was airbag deployment) Would it be worth it? Only had 14K miles on this car... Please, any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated with where I should go from here...

Thanks a lot guys for all the positive support, really have enjoyed being apart of this forum and learning so much.

Met with the adjuster today...total loss...offered me 24100! only paid 21500...plus im getting about 2k in audio equipment out of it, and the 3 good rims and tires....

**Side note, the ****ing tow truck dicks def. tried to rip my system out while they had it. But everything was professionally installed and I can tell they tried but gave up... ****ing ****** don't appreciate anything.

The one thing that really hurts tho is the dynamat...the ENTIRE car was done....no rattle...the guys who did it spent 10+ hours...im talkin the hatch, the entire back, the floor boards, the doors, the firewall...everything. sick install...and all for ****.

trying to decide between a g35, acura tl or another z, z would be my pick but insurance was already raping me ($300 a month) so i can only imagine what its going up to after this payout. I make good money, but a ****ing mortgage payment for a car just isnt going to work.... so only time will tell..thanks again guys for all the support.

 

At least you are ok. THis is why i hate fiberglass.

Dunno exactly, she seemed to be in better condition than me tho. Im pretty sure they said she just had scrapes and bruises. I had to get 10 stitches from air bag deployment.

no, i was knocked unconcious by the air bag...but I don't have any memory leading up to the accident. I came to after I had already rolled to a stop and a random guy was trying to wake me.

Are you going to sell anything from the car? I live in tallahassee. I have seen that car around town and in the books a million parking lot.

 

It definatly looks like you were going pretty fast. Look at the front reinforcement bar, that thing is pushed all the way back up over the engine. Were you speeding?

You've got be kidding right, you want to save that car? The car is TOTALED Sir, I wouldn't be worried about the airbags, if the front rebar looks like that you have some massive damage to the rails, the engine is moved to the back, suspension is seriously shot, rad support is shattered to pieces, as well as the radiator

Part the car, giving it to the insurance with all of those Nismo parts would be damn shame, oh and I guess the BBK is shot also.
