BTW that's a lot of racing. I have never seen a time slip:

You are wrong, however, even if true, that wouldn't be difficult to accomplish.

I see that you're in Granada Hills. PM Jeff@westcovinanissan and see if he can help you out. And stop doing so much burnout; only kids do that stuff.

service manager cant deny a warranty claim. he can tell the customer right there it may not be covered but its not up to him.

and yes its clearly abuse but it cant be proven they cant deny it. otherwise they will burn up in court. i am not confusing it with an aftermarket part causing problems its always the same. provie it or fix it.
we had similar problem with G35 where he claimed he was burning oil. then 2 days later someone videotapes him at an auto cross bouncing off the rev limiter. bye bye free engine

So you're saying that he can show up at the dealer about every two months for the remainder of his warranty period with a broken axel and there's no way they can deny him coverage because they can't prove he's abusing it.

Breaking a part, especially more than once, that is essentially unbreakable under normal use, is in itself proof of abuse.

+1, dealerships may be a pain in the a.sshole to deal with, but they arent THAT stupid either. Broken axles twice, wow , you must be doing something. Unless youre in a competition, whoever does burnouts IMO, are complete f*cking idiots. Not only are you wasting rubber, but gas, and brakes, and beating on your engine for no good reason. How old are you by the way kid?

There are many simple metallurgical test that can be performed to determine if the axles were defective.

If they are not defective, then the cause very simply is abuse.

It continues to amaze me how people can beat the hell out of their cars and expect dealers to pay the freight.

It is hard to generate any sympathy for dealers but guys like the OP do it.

BURNOUTS~~lets think on what really happens for that Excited thrill of tire's smoking. .
1- you bang the tranny into gear in order to force the tire to spin
2- after the tranny bangs into gear that force is then transfered through the light weight carbon drive shaft
3-then the rear diff and it's spider bearings get the full force transferring that energy into your axles n BAM the WEAKEST LINK WILL BREAK!!!!!!!!!!

While being stationary....Pushing the clutch in, placing the shifter in 1st = tranny banging into gear? Since when? LOL ... Do you know how to burnout? You stay stationary while you burn out homie, there is no "banging" of gears.... It seems as if the OP was following your technique

enlighten me.. . . . how would you proceed to do a burn out. .if your staying stationary. .what do YOU do let of the clutch easy? perhaps you do the roll back then slam into forward gear . .EXPLAIN!!!. .1st gear has the most tq of power at the beginning. .so in order to make the tires spin in place you drop the clutch. . .am i correct?. .

Sounds like he has a AT? Although I have to say I never understood drag racing a Z car to begin with. No offense to those who do, I just don't get it.

yes, it messes up tires. i think that everyone clearly knows that

In a RWD car, you would dump the clutch, press teh gas down then use your left foot and put it on the brake pedal to hold the car in place. You would keep bliping the throttle to keep the car burning out.

I have never used drag radials or slicks before at the track but plenty of people do it on this forums. A quick burnout is needed. Usually the water pit helps a lot better than a dry pit.

A lot of people break axles at the track due to too much grip.

yes, you can let off your clutch easy. You transfer the weight by pressing the front brakes making the rear tires having no traction.
