Wink Let there be.........BLING!!!

Well.........Summer is here, and it's time for a change!
Bolted up my "custom chrome" 19' MODA R6 (from my Lexus GS). They've been patiently waiting in my garage ready to be unleashed in all their "Blingness".
By the way. They are a PERFECT FIT due to 5x114.3 pattern, and they are +29 front (19x8.5) and +33 rear (19x10) offsets (if I remember correctly). I still have the Antera's as well. They're just taking a rest. And YES!!! These chrome MODA'S are NO lightweights by any stretch! @ 40 - 45lbs.
Oh well, like I always say........"It's All Good!"

Default That's Right.. Now that's what I am talkin bout.

Someone who ain't scare to look good. All I have been hearing is aren't those wheels heavy, you are gonna lose some horsepower.

Well I am not into racing, I really get around quite fast enough, & just imagine when I have to take my Fat A$$ Aunt to the grocery store.. Imagine the horse power that I lose then..

JK

Looks good.

Without sounding stupid.

Could someone please explain what the term "bling" means and I dont mean to hijack your thread.

I hear and read it all the time and it's not a term we use (that I know of anyway) down here in Oz!

Thanks

Mighty fine looking car too!

Like when you look at a diamond & the light hits it just right, its like you hear "BLING", like when you look at my 20's and the light is hitting the front lip of the rear wheel, you hear in you ears, "BLING". Like that gold tooth when someone smiles & the light hits it.... "BLING".

Well............uhhhhhhhhhm!

My personal explanation is a little less graphic.

Think of it as ANYTHING that basically "stands out due to reflection"! Obviously: chrome wheels, jewelry, a freshly waxed car, my Avatar (over to the left)......you get the idea.

Polished wheels look great.......mmmmmm Zenetti

TX car looks alot better with those wheels then it does in ur signature pic.....just my opinion. I think the next mod tho should b cross drilled discs or at least red painted calipers on the rear.
