Is a California car much different
I found this 2007 350Z in Seattle and it certainly looks reasonably priced and is low mileage. The Carfax shows that it's a Calif. car. Is this to be avoided by non-California owners ?
Any other comments would be appreciated

California cars have more smog & emissions caca on them than other states.
In LA in the mornings when they can't see the sun they have a word for this phenomenon, seems this pollution is cased by the ocean hence the name OCEaN LAYER. Gotta do somthing about the air quality and so all auto manufacturers selling cars in California are forced to have in place more smog & emissions caca on the cars.

Only back in the early 70s where special Calif. versions of cars produced.

I run into this a lot with toyota, mazda, and honda products.
It's pretty safe to say that in general you can be assured a CA car is cleaner and better taken care of than one from other states. Especially SoCal cars, where, frankly, it never rains, snows, etc. On avg, I'd say this is the case. Enthusiasts in all states will pamper their cars, but the level of detail in general here is far higher than most any other place...that's been my observation
