Default 06 Touring or 07 Enthusiast?

Which would you guys take?
Looking to spend low $20Ks for a car and can get either.

I don't like the new hood, but I like the new engine of course.
But I will miss the heated leather seats and Bose sound.

Good trade-off? Would you take an 06 Touring Z or 07 Enthusiast?
Honestly I haven't driven either (only driven 03-05 versions), but how big of an improvement is the HR engine over the Revup?

Thanks!

07. IMHO. But I also drive an enthusiast. Never missed leather or the supposedly crappy Bose system.

Wish I had an HR.

Well, IMO get the '07. I've got a "G" so leather is important to me. You can get your seats covered after the fact. You can also get an aftermarket sound system.

What lowrider said. Leather and stereo are easy upgrades.

Is the Bose system much better than the standard system?

It's not that much better. The sub it adds is horrible. I'd rather save my $ and get a nice sound system. Leather+Heated however is worth it if your getting a roadster.

Go HR for your case!

This should be a no-brainer. The HR really is a big improvement over the rev-up.

You can always upgrade your sound system later. And leather seats can be added aftermarket as well.

If you're looking to get 6MT, 06 Rev-up engine is prone to oil consumption. EVERYONE that I know who has 06 MT has suffered from this problem.

Cool, thanks for the opinions.
Looking for an 07 Enthusiast. I'll just find someone selling their leather seats later and do without the heat. Maybe I'll upgrade the speakers and head unit, maybe not... Oh well.

I have an 06 Touring, and even I can tell you that an 07 Enthusiast is the easy choice.
