when i was 19 i bought my first crappy car in 1988 for $500. it was a 1981 Datsun 310GX. had to replace the CV joints twice, exhaust put out more smoke than a steel factory, and the damn speedometer did not work. the guy i bought it from said it had been broken for two years (it was stuck on 110,000 miles). i drove that POS till it fell apart, got me around town though

My first car was a GMC sonoma, looked decent... it wasn't... The headlight fell off once driving down the freeway and was just being held by the light wire when I pulled into a gas station, I jimmy rigged it with a paper clip and it stayed in till I got rid of the truck (strongest damn paper clip in the world ftw) and another time I was at chilis, walked out to get in my car open the door and the door pin falls off and the doors just hits the ground right there with me still holding the handle. No tools in the car my buddy held it up as I put the pin back in using a drum stick and a skateboard.
It had all of the crazy mechanical problems aswell (went through 2 transmissions while I had it) but those two stories were just funny as hell, especially the door
I love my G35!

My first car was a 1990 Mazda 323 hatchback, which I bought for $400.
For those of you who dont know what that is, its basically a hatchback protege and it kind of resembles a honda civic in a sense.
Then I donated it, and bought myself a '91 MR2 Turbo.
then that car started falling apart
So I bought an '04 Tiburon. Which was actually a half way decent car. It got me where I needed to go and it had a few nice 'creature comforts'
and now I'm in my '04 350. I dont see myself getting another car any time soon unless I win the lottery or something
...or get married and have kids

1983 Buick Lesabre. Boy was that thing a beast! If you floored it, you'd see the gas needle go down instantly. My first 2 months when I turned 16, I "accidently" hit 2 parked vans, a telephone pole, a pile of railroad ties and my garage. To top it off, a wheel came off when I was pulling out of my highschool's parking lot. It went rolling down the street while me and my friends looked like we were hitting 3-wheel motion! The funny thing is that all the damage from all of the incidents was on the passenger front bumber/quarter panel. If you looked at the car from the driver side it looked brand new! That thing ran forever!

1988 Subaru GL. $500. Insane amount of miles. Puerto Rican as all hell (crown, CD and all).
****ing head unit would fall out everytime I moved from a stop. Ate a quart of oil every other day. Blew two rods somehow and still drove that ***** ~5 miles to my house.

1977 Triumph TR-7, hardtop, 4 speed. Typical British car from the 70's.... always something breaking down. I think that car must have had at most 80hp.
Some guys in school thought they were pretty smart by lifting up my car and turning it sideways between 2 cars so I couldn't leave until one of the people parked on either side left. I got them back by taking green ball bearing grease and smearing a 1/4 inch thick layer on the bottom of the rear bumper. I figured out who was lifting the car because they had some nice grease stains on their forearms and pants.
