Then weekends would be 25 to 50 miles per day on average. I have been averaging about 19 mpg this winter (seems low, and I can't figure out why yet) and it usually takes 16.2 or so gallons to fill it up, which is about $53 per fill-up lately.

In my opinion, if this is the type of driving you will be doing and you are looking to establish a monthly fuel budget, $250 would be a safe bet.
You can't establish a budget for someone else based on your particular situation. In my opinion, fill the dam tank, reset the dam trip odometer to zero, drive until the dam light comes on, fill it again, divide the miles driven by the number of gallons, and shazam = its your MPG. All other computations are entirely worthless and tell you absolutely nothing. Now, can we please lock this thread??????

Dood, with all due respect and not to get into a pissing contest, but did you read my post? The first thing I said is that the OP's question was unanswerable in the first place, because how can we tell him what his gas mileage will be, or how often he drives the car? So then I gave my own personal story, and what kind of results it gives me, so that the OP could see how just one other owner was doing on gas mileage.

I agree with you, this is just another MPG thread born from a question that was not very well thought out.

EDIT - Also, in my own defense, I added the disclaimer "...if this is the type of driving you will be doing blah blah blah" because I obviously can't come up with some monthly expense without any background info. And based on MY situation, which is all my post was really relevant to, I spend about $55 every 10 days, or less than $200 per month. Therefore my $250 estimate was very conservative, by about 1 tank of gas per month. This would cover any variations in driving habits, like keeping your foot in the gas all the time. But anyway, sorry to have struck your nerve.

sry110, sorry, was not trying to get into a pissing match either. Just drives me crazy seeing another senseless mileage thread, especially since all 350s have the trip computer and it is pretty accurate. To be honest, I don't pay attention to it much anyway - I need gas, I fill the tank, and I b#tch about the cost of it. Especially today after reading that Exxon had 40 BILLION dollars profit last year.
