Incorrect. Sorry. If that's true, please do everyone a favor a reference a few states' laws for "buyer's remorse" in regards to auto purchases.

Thanks.

I'm having the same problem, bought an 03 z and i didnt pass emissions. I told the dealer about it and showed then exactly what sensors needed replacement. Im still waiting on my car to be fix. they never call me, i always have to call them. there always like their still working on it. it's been a week and half and i still havent gotten my car back. i hate this feeling of wait... hope everything will turn out for the best for you...

Lemon means the car has the same problems over and over. Another words it can't be fixed.

I really can't believe some of the replies to this thread in light of the fact that the OP hasn't even got word back on what the problem might be. The mere mention of "lemon law" and "oil consumption" are ludicrous. It's like him saying that he has a runny nose and it going to the doctor tomorrow then you guys start discussing cancer, brain tumors, etc.

OPTIMO - ignore the "noise" and don't sweat it until after you find out what's up with your Z.

Dave, are you trying to tell me that this guy has cancer?

I think the time to panic is now.

So the dealership should have a new CPS sometime today and will hopefully replace it today or tomorrow. Victory Nissan has a dealership that's closer to me (45 min instead of 2 hours) so I'm going to ask them to flatbed it to Chantilly so I can pick it up from there.

I could have been appeased pretty easily by the dealership taking more initiative (calling me, apologizing, et cetera). Hopefully I'll have the car in my hands by next weekend as I wanted to do a writeup on the 03 Track vs the 06 track and the differences I felt behind the wheel.

Just wanted to update. After strongly suggesting where to look they have replaced the bad CPS and did a hundred+ miles in the car to make sure it's sorted. Then they shipped it to a dealer closer to me (1 hour away instead of 2+).

I've been driving the car all week and so far no issues. Very gradual oversteer once you get it going - no snap at all.
