Default What do you think of this story? I decided to wash my car...

so before i went to the place, i pick up my shuffle at my friends house. He volunteers to go and wash it with me. I'm not gonna say no.

We get there and put the money in to start washing. I put in the three bucks to start it and go start foaming it up.

Even before I left, I should have just kept it in the driveway and cleaned it myself, but I figured what the hell. Not to drag out the story any longer, he immediately starts to foam my car up.

I'm not trying to be too **** that he's doing it, but I trust him. I make sure I'm careful to avoid any sort of touching of the head of the sprayer and the hose itself.

Before we leave, he's standing next to the coin station while I'm rinsing it off and it runs out of time

AND

my car now has a seven or eight inch scratch down the back bumper from the turning lights to nearly the exhaust that definitely wasn't there before we got there.

It can probably be buffed out and it's really not that big of a deal, but wtf mate? Did my friend really do that?

i did and he said no...i'm a pretty laid back guy and i've known this kid since i was like six so there's really no reason not to admit it...it's hard for me to believe that he'd do it intentionally, but not telling me is so shady

LOL - But, it's true. He's making something up in his mind.

Look here for eye movement and lying:

He was helping you wash your car when he didn't have to. If he made the scratches from the crappy car wash, it was an accident. You're the one being a bad friend, not him. It will probably buff out anyhow.

Don't ruin a good friendship over a scratch that obviously he didn't intend to do. You know him better than all of us. If you say it can buff out, you shouldn't stress it.
BTW, next time... PICS!

How sure are you that the scratches weren't there before? There's nothing worse than dishonest friends ... unless he never knew he did it.

you've known him since you were six. You do know what type of a person he is, right?
so you should know if he does lie to you or not about the incident.

btw, its just a scratch...

ehh it will porb buff out. I used to get them on my black truck just from the hose rubbing on it. But silverstone must be a little worse. Wash in driveway unless just gettting the junk off your car before you wash in drive way FTW.
