VQ
I'm glad to hear VQ is still involved, and after some well deserved R&R, I hope he gets back into this board. His knowledge, wisdom, leadership and interest in this board and the Z were terrific assets and are greatly missed. I'm sure he put in an enormous amount of time; he was an encyclopedia of information. I've learned a great deal from this board and he was a major force in creating and maintaining that experience.
I've learned that when you volunteer and put yourself out for others, you can never keep all the people happy. You have to develop a thick skin and trust in your instincts and sometimes its hard to maintain that attitude - especiallly when the level of satisfaction drops below the level frustration. I'm a School Board President and you wouldn't believe how satisfying and frustrating that can be all at once.
Victor should be very proud of what he's accomplished, he is mature way beyond his years, and I hope his satifaciton index will soon again rise above his frustrations and he'll be back on, even if its VQ lite and he uses the rest of the time for the other stuff he needs to pursue.

Victor is mature beyond his years... and his experience with this site....together with what he had done for this board -- will greatly aid him in applying to the college or university of his choice.
Victor -- if you need references for your college applications... let me or any number of people here know.

I think that anyone saying this thread is going on too long, someone should close this thread, etc. is offensive to Victor. We are showing him are appreciation and he knows it, he has another handle, but I see nothing wrong with everyone and anyone to continue to thank him for his work as a administrator. I think it sounds a little disrespectful...

But alas Victor lives!
