Just over a month remains until the 2008 Z Nationals and we continue to work out all the details to make this year's event even better than the last.

Currently I am working with representatives of Yokohama Tire and we are trying to put together a 2 part tire tech session here at Z Nationals this year. It will essentially be an opportunity to come out and learn a bit about tire choice, tuning, and performance. This is something we will be very proud to offer to Z Nationals attendees and we are working on making it happen.

New Sponsor Confirmed for 2008 Z Nationals.

ADVAN has signed on as an event sponsor for this year and will be represented at the 2008 Z Nationals. In addition to providing product for the daily give aways they will also be presenting a 2 part tech session on tire tuning and selection. It will include a segment on reading tire wear, what tire temps mean, and other performance based specs. The 2nd session will be based on tire selection and choosing the right tire for your application.

At the moment we anticipate giving away 2 sets of ADVAN performance tires and they will also be on sight with coozies, hats, jackets, and other apparel.

We are very fortunate to have brought ADVAN on board for this year's event and look forward to working with them on a great show.

Track Day registration is closed. We are at our limit and will not be taking any more registrations unless there are cancellations or changes to # of instructors.

Anyone out there know any weather dances and rituals? Maybe some voodoo? Weather in GA has been unpredictable lately. Early morning tornados followed by snow that night. This week we had sunshine and 70's on Thursday, it's snowing today.

Here's a couple of extra incentives to pre-register online for Z Nationals. Not only can you avoid having to register at the gate, which could involve standing in line, but you will also get an extra ticket for the give-a-way drawing throughout the day and will be given first priority for the free lunch coupons on Saturday as well.

Product give-a-way and event specials update.

Rotora Brakes is on board as an event sponsor and we will be giving away 2 $1,000 discount certificates towards the purchase of a Rotora 4 Wheel Disc Brake kit. One certificate will awarded to a 350Z/G35 owner and the other to a Z32 owner.

As registrations keep coming in we realized that the restaraunt and bar we had booked for the after show dinner and entertainment was not going to be big enough. We are currently looking into other venues and will post that info ASAP.
