yeah they should be. .sometimes if i get like nissans or infinite's in with the same parts i can quickly swap em to see if one works for the other as a test . . .so it should work . . .as long as it's the same engine. .like a maxima 3.5 n so on. . .

His is a 350z too. If it was the MAF wouldn't it be idling like crap?

that would be the ideal thing. .but sometimes it only starts to get crazy when you actually hit the gas. .. .tell me. .do you have a check engine light on at all?. .

what exactly do u mean by wiring problems. . .what kind of wiring problems and who fixed it?. .it's possible that something may also be shorting out say if you hit bumps or rough terrain. . wire's may be touching due to not insulated properly ..

I had a few lights on when I had the wiring stuff, but I erased them out and they haven't come back on since. I just had a loose connection for the fuel pump. I fixed it. And I don't think it's when I hit bumps. The road was just repaved and it pretty smooth. And it only does it at around 4.5-5k and feels like it cuts power and the rpms jump down to around 3k. I can let off of it and get back in the gas and it will go fine. I haven't gotten it out of second like that though.

could be that the fuel pump is shorted out. .and at higher rpm's it's not giving enough fuel to the engine. .due to that clip. .it's possible. .that it spiked the pump/ or shorted it out. ... .this might be a long shot but if you have a fuel PSI gauge. .see if you can test the fuel PSI at higher rpms

at idle w/vacuum. .psi should be 51
there is some kind of tsb about a PSI tool ..but i dont think it's all that.. but i do see a TSB for lack of engine power due to cam pos sensor failure. .engine may also shut down. .but hey im lookin at most of the TSB's dealing with your description. .

I don't have one, but I might know someone that does. The only problem is I can rev it fine in park. It's only with a load and agressive driving that it does it.

check my last post i added more. .

and yeah it will only do it with a load. .cause engine's free with no load. .so it's still not requiring more fuel. .

Hmmm. One of those codes had something to do with power to a sensor. It didn't say what sensor though. It was P1229. The light hasn't come back on though.

i so wish i can just copy n paste. .but look that p1229 is for the throttle pos sensor. .fualty wiring or w/e. .if you give me time 2morrow i will print out 4 diagrams explaining it in detail with figure's for you. .cause i have to run outta here. I will post the pictures up here for you. .if you like. .i'll have to print then scan then photobucket them into here. .but it's deff looks like something is wrong with your TP sensor. . .

UNLESSSSSSSSSSS. . you have a fax #. . . .

I used to have a combo fax, but I got a new printer and gave it away. If you don't mind uploading that would be great though. Thanks.

Oh I forgot to say could it have popped those codes when I had my harness uplugged? I forgot to plug the main harness back in before trying to start it when I was tracing the wiring.

I reset the ECU to see if it would help any. I took it out and it did fine through first, no problem with tire spin. Then right before hitting second it started doing it again. That was after running long enough to warm it up.
