hey i did exactly that and trust me, your gona regret it big time. S2K is a really fun car to drive but try driving it for about two weeks and you'll get sick of it real fast. It's gona feel alot and i mean ALOT slower than the Z, S2K's are meant to be driven at high rpms and don't have any torque. They also feel very cramped and uncomfortable. I had the 06' Z for about few yrs and had S2K for about two weeks and got rid of it. Z is a much better car imo and a way better daily driver.

I've owned an S2K as well as my Current Z. I like them both for different reasons...as they are two different animals. Comparing the two is a bit of a moot point.
I find it interesting that those chiming in about the lack of torque with the S2K. Sure the Z has more torque...but it's also heavier.
I'm curious to find out if those people have driven the S2K... Yes they don't have much torque down low...but it's not like driving a Geo Metro. You're seeing 9K RPM before you can blink and thats where the power sits and THAT is where the car comes alive.
And please don't start about having to "rev the crap" out of the motor...it was designed that way...

How is it lame? If given the right opportunity...I'd go back to an S2000. The Z isn't exactly a Ferrari...

The fact that you're saying the S2K is the same car as the Miata discredits your contribution to this thread automatically.
