Yeah only due to driver error, or roadster vs. roadster. Other than that, i dont know what the hell you have been watching.
Man, the S sure gets under the skin of Z owners. I had my '03 S for four years and it's a great car and beautifully engineered. You have to be a good driver to get the most out of it. It sure is quick for a car with "no torque."
The Z is a different beast all together and I'm enjoying the hell out of my '07 and I have no regrets that I traded the S for it. If I had the money to do it, I would have loved to have both. The Honda always gets bashed here and for no really good reasons. Honda made the most out of a naturally aspirated 2.0 liter engine and there's no doubt that is has one of the best production trannies on the market. It's a single purpose vehicle and nails the purpose very well. I like the Z for different reasons. One of the main reasons is that it's always fast and it feels fast! It's a lot more comfortable and has much better toys included. Credit to Nissan for substantially upgrading the Z while Honda let the S get old. Lastly, the Z is a much better daily driver that does many things very well.

The fact that you're saying the S2K is the same car as the Miata discredits your contribution to this thread automatically.

Whatever man...no point in arguing this.

Comparing both cars. Stock vs Stock its a slow car but has a lot of potential. The limit that u can take the s2k motor is a lot more than the Z. its a really fast car for being a 4 banger. it keeps up with the Z in the twisties, dont know about in the straight line.

Thats unless he buys the Honda S2000 CR, those come with hard tops but has no soft tops built in.
Well, I have never test driven one so i cant really have an opinion on them...but i did race one light to light...i am stock, it had an exhaust system (it was aparent becuase of the noise). anyways...it was about a steady 1 1/2 car lengths the whole way till i dropped 4th and took off. (long distance beteen lights) well when they pulled up to the light...the dude rolled his window down and asked me if it was a fairlady Z. I said naw. but s2k's do look good.
Negative equity sux. I owed 18k on my Z when I went to trade it in for the FX35, the dealership only wanted to give me 13k for my Z! I was 5K upside down, and that 5k would have been added to the 22K price of the FX35. Be careful and dont get suckered in! Try to sell privatley
