Which Z is faster?

And that is why the HR will beat a Z33TT because it is faster than a 03 Z33.

 

z32tt vs any year z33 even with the hr motor i believe will win. It's not that much by Number's faster than the DE motor. The DE motor has more TQ anyway. And thats launching/pulling power.

BTW anything made is ENGLAND is pure GARBAGE!! I've worked on many of their junk cars. .JUNK!!!

 

DE doesn't pull near the times or trap speed that the HR does. The HR has plenty of TQ.

I have raced a few Z32TTs and beat them all except one which has almost 500rwhp. :P

 

I don't want to create a battle, but im assuming they did not know how to drive. Or didnt want to waste gas beating you.
I have an 03 with a few engine mods, and i've beaten the HR's. Infact on I-95 in NJ other night was racing a g35 sedan and a Z HR, and i took them both no prob although i really had to push the 03 hard. Both cars owned by buddies of mine. Went to David & Buster's in PA!

 

Most stage 3 Z32TTs (~$1000 in mods) run ~350rwhp, and 112-118 trap (there are outliers of course) which is plenty of car to authoritatively beat an HR straight-line. I must say that I'm thoroughly impressed with the HRs ability to pull 100-107mph traps - stock or not. When my Z32TT was stage 3, I was the slow one in the group running mid 12's at 110-113mph.

I agree that stock:stock an HR is way faster than a Z32TT, and that it's a driver's race for the Z33s that are pre-HR. I'd be happy to make a vid of any non F/I Z33 vs my Z32TT. Heck, I'll even turn the boost controller OFF. I'm not a Z33 hater, I have one in the garage as well.

 

Prove it with a timeslip buddy. Look under Drag Times. NO DE has run the stock times the HR has ran. NO ONE except a built engine. It takes a built DE engine to get the stock times the HR cars are doing. lol

A DE will not beat a HR period. Unless the HR guy didn't know how to drive I am sorry it isn't going to happen.

I have owned a 04, 05, DE and a 07 HR now.
