How about 2007 and 2008? Is there any problems with those year models?

I cannot believe after 5 years in production Nissan still cannot fix the problems.
05s are most trouble free with the exception of 2007s and 08s.

The new HR engines in the 07/08 are much better.

07's and a small amount of 08's still have some master clutch cylinder problems (which was taken care of by the TSB)

no major issues with my 03(purchased new 3/03) except for the power window motors replaced under warranty from day one. Replace those factory 17" with 06 18" tires/wheels, no tire feathering issues yet.
03 gets my vote as always.

i would think that all the problems on the 03 and early 04`s were fixed by now...right?i mean its been like 5 years, im sure the first owner would get it fixed.

I have an 06 base model and so far i have had no probs. None whatsoever. Its all in luck of the draw. I have heard of peple that have 03's with no probs, and i have heard of people with 07's with 1000 problems. Its all luck of the draw i think. But i prefer the 06's anyways, just my 2 cents

I know there are more little things to add to each year but these are the major problems I have seen so far.

I have an 03 and no major problems to report yet. First thing I did was have the tranny replaced under warranty. Just went in told them I felt a little grinding and without any hassle they replaced it for free. Covered up to 60k on the Z GL!

Hey Guys,

I just got an 05 and it runs pretty well... no major problems... but sometimes when i'm in neutral and moving and the clutch is all the way in and i try to put it in 1st there's a little bit of a whining noise and i get some resistance... and i swear once or twice i got a little bit of a griding sound... is this something to worry about.... also why is the 05 not good for mods and why is it so much slower than an 04 or 03?

thanks
