Default Project 350Z in new Sport Compact Car mag

Should be interesting to follow. SCC is doing a project 350Z.

They started off changing the differential for a KAAZ unit. Can't wait for the go fast parts though. They didn't give any clues as to what the may be installing in the Z, but it will be interesting if they eventually go FI like they did their past Subaru project. Although we all know the Subarus kit was prob half the price of the Z kit.

Anyways just though I'd let you guys know.

the car came in 10th out of 11th place

it was beat around the track by quite a few seconds by the SRT-4, Scion TC, EVO, STI, miata, and a few other cheaper cars.

The only car it beat was the 300ZX

the Z didn't do so well in their test. They said the car just has no traction. It has a vortech supercharger and 275 BFG KD tires with KAAZ LSD, nismo suspension and hotchis sway bars

It didn't look very impressive in their testing other than how it looks...

You got to remember that the testing was done on a wet track. I would believe that if the track was dry, it would have done much better.

sorry, I was reading the article at a shop today while I was waiting and assumed it was a recent issue - all the cars are modern cars etc.
