I just can't believe anyone would take the time to write a note like that.

That guy is so stupid, most of the engines in NASCARS are not even made by FORD or GMC. Most of the NASCAR engines come from GERMANY. Foreign garbage huh? LMAO

American cars lovers are like some ugly girl. If you tell her she is pretty long enough, she'll start believing it. They thinks they are pretty.

Sorry, but you are quite incorrect.

My bad, you are correct HDPD350Z. However, I think some of the parts used to build engines are not made in America, such as Bosch etc...I just did a search and found this:

Build a NASCAR Engine
Step1
Select an American-made engine. Per NASCAR rules, all engines in participating cars must be made in America.

Step2
Opt for a V8 engine. These engines have the most power and are the only kinds that will help your car get up to the high speeds needed to win a race.

Step3
Choose an engine that is 358 cubic inches or less in size. NASCAR rules do not allow for anything bigger.

Step4
Stay between 700 and 800 horsepower (HP) when building your engine.

Step5
Make sure all the engine parts fit together tightly and perfectly. The tighter the fit, the more power the engine is able to produce. The parts in NASCAR engines need to fit together more tightly than in normal car engines.

Step6
Leave out fuel injectors, catalytic converters and mufflers. Your NASCAR engine does not need them, and they will just slow down your car on the track.

Step7
Install a programmable ignition system. Such a system will allow you to create precision timing for sparks, which will provide an extra boost of power for the car at pre-determined intervals.

Step8
Tune the intake and exhaust so that they give the car an extra boost of power when it reaches certain speeds of your choosing.

Step9
Rig your cam profiles to open the intake valves on the engine as soon as possible. Once opened, the intake valves should stay open until the car is turned off or slows below a pre-determined speed. This increases speed by allowing greater amounts of air to flow into the engine's cylinders.

Eh. Even the Native Americans came from "overseas". They crossed the "land bridge" via Alaska 12,000 years ago during the last Ice Age when water levels were much lower. Anthropologically speaking only, of course.

(So maybe the guy who left the note was a Native American...?)

LOL. I was talking more recently than 12,000 years ago and after the whole land mass seperation. And I watch the National Geographic Channels too.

I think we agree here that it's not about foreign or not foreign, just ignorance. And I also believe that if "Amercan built vehicles" were designed better and more reliable, ppl like us would buy one.

In all honesty, what is the point of buying a stock v8 American car that can't out perform 4's and 6's from other countries.

HadesMR: "If at first you don't succeed, sky diving is not for you". I LMAO when I saw this. Very true and Too Funny.

If you really want to.

I did say that if I were to buy an American car it would be 1 of the 3: Vette (this is basically the only one that can keep up or beat some of the super cars, for the price), Viper, Saleen S7. 2 of the 3 are attainable, but the S7 might be a reach (a real long reach). At the same time, the reliability is not there for the money you spend.

I was referring more to the other V8's other than the 3 listed, the rest are junk.
