My local Nissan dealer just got in about 15 Maximas and Altimas or so, all totally decimated by hail. They said the factory had about 10,000 vehicles damaged. Does anyone know if this included Zs as well?

If so, you can probably keep your eyes peeled for a heck of a deal on a brand new "tainted" Z.

350Z's are built in Japan, so unless the hail storm flew across the Pacific, I doubt if you will see alny hail damaged Z's. (Unless they were damaged on a dealer's lot)

The cars sit in a lot at the entry port for days sometimes. Actually, if you remember the early days, peoples cars were stuck at the port for weeks waiting for the aearo package (it is installed at the entry port).

The Maximas, Altimas, Frontiers, and Xterras are built in Smyrna, TN. We've had several hail storms here recently, in fact, the Middle TN Z Club toured the plant on a day we had some hail.

I have a hard time believing 10,000 vehicles, though.
