True! I will be trading my 06 TL 6MT for 2008 MB Enthusiast tomorrow!!! I'm excited even though I'm loosing navigation, back seat, leather, and my trunk!

The Z was ranked number 1, as far as HP to Gasmileage ratio. So you cant get a better performing car, that gets as good of gas mileage. I forgot the website, i think it was edmunds or consumer reports, or jd power and associates.

I actually traded in a 300c with a Hemi so this 350z is great as far as gas mileage!!!!

The only article I remember was the MSN Horsepower vs. Fuel Efficiency Article:

Hoserpower vs. Fuel Efficiency part 1

Hoserpower vs. Fuel Efficiency part 2

Just wait till you get the knocks from using el cheapo' gas. Also, the price difference between a tank of regular vs. a tank of premium is only $1-3. If you smoke, break that habit and you'll be saving a lot more on that than you would by going from prem. to regular.

Listen to Willie, above! I use the cruise control most of the time, & am getting
g-r-e-a-t MPG from my beast! Once a week, I "let go", & really step on it, for
fun. Then, I go back to the conservative mode & just cruise. The fact that you're driving a Z is enough to feel "THAT" thrill, w./o. blowing too much gas!
Relax & ENJOY your monster, guy!!!

when my Z was N/A I would get over 30mpg highway and 24-25 mpg around town. Mixed driving would net around 27 mpg. My POS '98 protege only gets around 26-27 mpg in mixed driving so where's the savings?

Even boosted I get over 26 mpg on the highway and around 18-20 city.... don't ask me what my milage is when I run it hard :cough: single digits :cough:

Exactly. I try to keep it under 3k RPM's when driving in the city. I get around 24 MPG. Highway I get about 28. I don't need to be flooring it to enjoy the car. I just relax and cruise

Selling the Z because of a $4 gallon gas price? Seems like the OP was living out of his means buying a $30k car and not afford $60 for a tank of gas. And +1 on buying a $35+k hybrid just to get 30 actual miles to the gallon being pretty silly.
