Default Another "My Z got Hit" Thread

Yeah so basicaly some lady decided to fall asleep driving past my house and run through some bushes, hit my Z, and ran into my room in my house.

A quick estimate from everyone hear would be great since the cop needs a rough estimate for the report and he aint too bright.

damn chase! you all right? Bet the parents flipped a ****.

thats gonna be a pricy for parts. Looks like only two panels got hit so probably about 3k or less on the Z.

in other crappy news:

I got a flat the other night on the way back home from work. Rim is ok but VDC/ECU doesnt like the donut.

things to consider:
first flat since i bought this car ( been a few years)
wheels are being sold this wednesday, now ive got to wrap the front in new rubber, at least the buyer is understanding
happend on the weekend that EVERYONE went home, hard to get a ride to work

Yeah im good and i wasnt even in the car when it happened. Car spun a 180 and the wheel went into a slab of concrete so possible suspension damage (wheel is a little bowed out) and scratched the rear wheels pretty good (one of concrete and other by the car) too so either going to repaint or get some new rears.
And getting flats does suck pretty bad too. What kind of wheel are you swaping to now?

The cop wrote the damages up as 5K but im going to push for a new suspension and not just replacing the damaged parts.

Don't forgot emotional distress and anxiety. I mean, how are you supposed to sleep at night thinking a car is going to smash your Z again?

does it really matter how much the cop writes in damages. Hes not an insurance adjuster or any kind of expert as to what your car parts cost.

HER insurance company will take care of your car/house. Be sure to push for all new parts, the best body shop in town and to replace the damaged wheels/suspension components. Its unsafe to ride around on a structurally repaired wheel.

Yeah im going to ask that the stock wheels be put back on (Rays 19s) and probably sell those and get a set of Axis 19s for the back.

Im thinking possible suspension damage so repairs might get pretty high pretty quick.

And another question would be if i have all the wires run for the nitrous and take it to Nissan to have a quote done, what are the chances that they screw me over on my warranty. Really the most worried about that.

And for my 500th post...

Is the nissan dealership going to be the most expensive place for a quote or should i try to find another shop?
