Car Ok...Ego Not Ok!!
So, I got my car out yesterday for the first time since October. I was driving home after meeting my family for lunch just down the street. Everything was great. The sun was shining, spring was in the air and I was feeling like a million bucks!! Untill that is I decide to make things a little more interesting by drifting around a corner. While making a right hand turn I punch the gas...hard...too hard. Back end goes way out and I am now going completly sideways down a busy road at 2:00 on a Sunday afternoon. Bad combination!! In attempts to get the car back under controle I counter steer, but again I go overboard!! Now instead of heading toward a curb, I'm heading toward oncoming traffic. When I finally get things under raps I'm driving in the oncoming lane. Lucky for me the i'm able to get back over before I get real close to hitting anyone. The person that was closest was a guy in a mini van and thank God instead of being on the phone with the cops...he just pointed and laughed at me. Needless to say I felt like a complete jack ***, not only for being so recklas but also for turning off the VDC when I had first gotten in the car!! Oh well...live and learn right?? Driving school here I come!!

At least no harm was done, happens to the best of us [or so the not-so-best-of-us tell ourselves].
My similar experience stemmed from deciding it would be a good idea to turn VDC/TCS off after driving for 2 minutes in 40 degree weather, then taking a hard turn on the gas... Resulted in my ending up in an oncoming lane, turned completely backwards. Fortunately this was at 2:30am, so there wasn't anyone around to witness my tard driving skills.

Hey man, you know if you post anything remotely stupid on this site then people are going to clown you for it and more. But, yeah I did almost the same thing. I had my VDC on while busting a tight quick U-turn and the back came out, but not enough to lose total control. And my chick was in the car. He knuckles were white after that. And I think she farted. LOL!!!

Maybe...but some stories are better left untold
