So... take the Nismo bodykit... add some flavor and a CF hood and...?

With the kit... there was TOO much blue. With a CF hood... (which personally I'm a STRONG believer in) and matching skirts in gloss black... I think the car comes together quite well.

What do you think?

Victor, we'll have to get in touch with VIS... I'm sure they already have a hood planned... Bet its going to be bank thou... just a PLAIN Civic/Teg hood is $450ish... Matching the Z lines? Ummmmmm... $650-850ish I'd bet.

Why get a CF hood when the hood is already made out of aluminum - extremely light weight - possibly lighter then a CF hood

I'd bet its still going to be slightly lighter... (Yeah yeah, 3-5lbs) More so, it won't show all the road dings, dents, etc... that the OEM hood will. I love the style personally...

Yup, went to the Cool Springs show every weekend this year... minus the august heat autox event two weeks ago...

Sadly, there IS NOT a show anymore. The mall let the group know that they no longer were going to offer their parking lot, and they were not allowed. The head is going to call me when he knows of a new location.

Our Al hood should be really light, similar to the WRX's hood. When i look at mods for cars, i give 'em the old cost/benefit analysis. Does the cost justify the benefits we would recieve? Since our hood should already be pretty light, I'd definately say no.

but if you like the way it looks and you wouldnt mind shaving a few pounds, go for it.
