Dragon's Tail
Just wanted to share my excitement, both for my first trip to the Dragon and also for how pleased I am with my car!!! First of all, the Dragon is simply amazing and well worth the trip, no matter how far you have to drive to get there. The road is simply more than ever imagined, words can not describe how badass this road is and ultimately how fun and or hairy it can be!!!! I would drive it everyday if I lived close enough to do so. Please, if you enjoy driving at all and you ever wanted to feel a little queasy and happy all at the same time go to the DRAGON.
Now for the secind part, I have owned 3 Z's , from a 1992 TT 300, a 1995 TT 300,and my current car a 2005 35TH AE 350Z, so I have great respect and pride for the Z car. I now understand how amazing the car actually is and how capable, with just a few modifications , that this car can be. Sure I know there are faster , better handling cars out there, but I just Love what my car has become and how much fun it is to drive. And how how amazed many sport bike riders were with such ease and speed that I was able to stay all over their *** on the dragon. I hope everyone who owns a Z gets a chance to see what the car is actually capable of, most will not, but those who do will know what I am talking about. Thanks

Saw two entire day, one State and one Sherriff, who did have sportbike pulled over. I was told more towards summer and peak season , that Cops are much thicker. That is kinds why I watched weather and had this early weekend picked out. Really could not have been better. Traffic was pretty light and most all were sportbikes and sweet rides.

Pretty sure the grant money ran out and things are back to somewhat normal. At least one THP trooper got owned in court for ticketing a guy who was using his camcorder while driving - it did not have a video screen so was NOT a TV device and he was found not guilty. This was one of the owners of the T.O.D. web site. But thats why when I go to ZDayZ we get up at 7 AM to get some runs in, before the traffic and the cops show up.

Man, I gotta get out there before I leave the South. However, I have a few back roads around here that are nothing but turns, and it's just about impossible to go about 60. Turn after turn after turn, it's just great. I'm moving to the great plains soon, that is gonna SUCK. I don't think they even know how to curve a road.

And that Road is....
Can someone say "wolfpen gap road". that is the Deals gap of Geogia. I have ridden both (in the same day too). while the "Gap" is a great road, wolfpen is actually tighter and more technical than Deals gap. Nothing wrong with either. So if you find yourself traveling down 129 through suches, take a trip across wolfpen. You won't be dissapointed.

CoachK22 we have a little group that takes a ride through the Dragon or similar road once a month. We went to the Devil's Triangle two weekends ago and as great as the Dragon is, the Triangle had me more on edge with no cops. Keep an eye out for our rides at the site below. If you are going to be in the area again, come roll with us. i have been to the Dragon twice in the last 4 weeks and only saw two cops each both times. Can't agree more with your statement about the Z. Loved driving the back roads around here so much I bought two for all year round.
