i have to agree, something was wrong with the guy that got out of his car though. you'd have to something pretty extreme just sitting in your car and want to get out and start kicking their car. concluding from the facts that we have now, the guy deserved it.

walking up to someones window shows how stupid this roadrager was. As many people these days are packin, legally or illegally, you can get shot for doing that.
In my state like many others, your car is considered 'your home' and you can legally blow someone away for carjacking or trying to get at you inside. Beleive it or not a 'tent' when camping is considerd the same.
I think the OP could have run him over and would not get in trouble since it really is self defense. There is no way I'm letting some guy beat my *** through my window. I would have done the same and zoomed off as fast as possible to get away from this nutjob. He certainly would have beat this kid to death for just blocking his turn.
Besides... what differnece does it make if the OP did it intentianally or not. No reason to get out of your car and assault someone.

I know some pretty dumb*ss people who usually think they are the sh*t...always doing retarded and crazy stuff in public. Then when someone calls them out on it or retaliates becuase of their stupidity, they usually play the victim asking "why do bad things always happen to me?" or something like that.

Giving you the benefit of the doubt on the story and on blocking it on purpose, I'm assuming you blocked an exit or something due to a back up of traffic?
OP- You have my full support, the guy's problem was he wasn't patient to wait for his way to be unblocked. He got out of the car. He started hitting yours and then hitting you. Weather backing into him was the right thing to do or not is debatable but you had to do something that's for sure. Unfortunatly sometimes physical violence is something such low-lifes like this guy can understand. It's just the world we live in now
