What company manufactures the 6 speed for Nissan or do they make them in-house?

 

They were designed and manufactured in-house.

 

My mechanic works on a R34 GT-R here in the area, and bitches about it all the time... The driver cranked up the boost too much, blew the motor, so I had the pleasure of watching Mike pull the motor/tranny... all the bolts require custom tools (just like German cars do)... and if it's anything like my old Audi TQC was, it's a royal PITA to work on... but hey, at least it's fast...
