Congrats, LA-Z. I for one am happy that you found a pre-order canceller. You walking in and getting a car early has nothing to do with the pre-order program and the way its been going.
To the others that are frustrated, do you think the dealers who have had pre-orders cancel on them should just sit on the cars until everyone who pre-ordered gets theirs and then sell them?

Just got word...my delivery date is Wednesday, September 4, 2002. For those in the metro DC area, I'm taking delivery from Passport Nissan of Alexandria.
FYI, while I haven't got my VIN yet (I have to make a phone call), if the VIN soup is still brewing, here's additional info

I think some, not alot, but some people will back out from getting their order. Ill even go as far as saying 15-20%.
p.s. do you take mustard and salt with those clothes.

Haha...maybe my general cynicism and the need to relentlessly badger my dealer for any info (and not receive any) has ruined me! Oh well, I'll just eat my shoe and be happy that someone is driving around in a Z. I like duck sauce...

I can't believe you guys fell for this again, what is this the 20th time someone thought they were getting their car "tomorrow"? When "tomorrow" comes the thread magically disappears and so does the person who posted. I'll believe it when I see it.
